About the Role

As a mechanical maintenance supervisor, you will collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to oversee planning and execution of mechanical repairs. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills will drive efficiency, safety, and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee maintenance strategies for plant structures and equipment
  • Manage critical spares and offline equipment reconditioning
  • Effectively manage fixed contracts for specific assets and deliver efficient outcomes
  • Support performance improvement and reliability of plant equipment
  • Maintain maintenance spend and optimize resource allocation
  • Embed safe work practices and build a safety-conscious culture
  • Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians

About Your Experience

With trade qualifications in mechanical fitting or boilermaking, you possess strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills. You value teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, and have demonstrated ability to solve complex maintenance problems.

Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or mining environments is required, along with excellent influencing and communication skills.
