Senior Nurse Leader Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to take on a leadership role within our hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse with strong clinical skills and experience in managing a team to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an acute care setting, preferably as a Clinical/Nursing Manager or a senior nurse ready for a leadership role. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor their team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining safe clinical practices
- Managing human resources and budget preparation of the unit
- Ensuring quality improvement and excellent clinical outcomes

Requirements
• Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in an acute care setting:
• Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager in a similar day surgery or ward is essential
• Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
• Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management
• Experience in day surgery is preferred
