Nurse Unit Manager Position

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our patient care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care services within the ward/unit.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to advancing nursing practice.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee the planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient care services.
- Lead and direct the nursing and multidisciplinary care teams at the unit level.
- Ensure safe and efficient nursing practices through effective management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in health care service management and delivery.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage, enable, and manage teams.
- Able to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate a vision for nursing services.
