Job Title: Clinical Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide senior nursing leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide health coaching and education for patients with chronic cardiac conditions.
  • Work closely alongside the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team to support patients through rehabilitation education sessions.
  • Employ advanced clinical skills and exercise extended autonomy of decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve to manage complex clinical care needs of patients.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with advanced interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Working Environment:

The role requires the suitable candidate to possess cardiology experience with interest and experience in health education. The position works Monday to Friday business hours.
