Credit Supervisor

WesTrac is a leading Caterpillar Dealership with a rich history of supporting thousands of customers across the mining and construction industries in Australia.

We are seeking a Credit Supervisor to join our team based in South Guildford, reporting directly to the Credit Manager.

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering on financial targets relating to DSO, aged debt profile and doubtful debt. Key responsibilities include managing a team of four Credit Officers', delivering month end reporting, conducting risk assessments, reviewing machine sale activities and managing debtors ledger.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Senior credit officer position with expertise in conducting credit risk assessments;
  • Proven ability to manage own level of DOA in line with corporate policy to ensure compliance and mitigation of risk;
  • Experience in training and developing teams to achieve targets;
  • Leadership skills in driving continuous improvement;
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (including financial statements);
  • Understanding and compliance with legislative requirements;
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to influence outcomes;
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities.
