We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our culinary team at The Star Entertainment Group. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Develop and implement menu planning and pricing strategies
- Conduct on-the-job training and coaching to ensure team members are equipped to deliver high-quality food and service
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Executive Chef to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in commercial cookery or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
