Finance Strategist Role

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Strategist to oversee financial functions and drive commercial success across two businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct all finance functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax, and audit requirements
  • Provide insightful analysis to support pricing, margin improvement, and cost control
  • Drive customer profitability analysis and optimize contract management processes
  • Oversee migration to Business Central and streamline finance operations

Your Background:

  • Experience: 7+ years in financial accounting, CA (or equivalent) preferred
  • Background: Technical accounting background, thriving in a commercial finance role
  • Skills: Month-end close, management accounting, Xero/Myob (Business Central exposure desirable)
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to support strategic decisions and drive profitability
  • Leadership: People-first leader who can build and grow a small finance function
  • Mindset: Ambitious, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
