We are seeking a highly skilled Conservation Project Coordinator to join our team in Perth, Australia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and reporting skills, with proven experience in research practices and project evaluation. They will be able to develop, source, gather and interpret quantitative and qualitative organisational data, communicating insights effectively to a variety of stakeholders.

This role requires the ability to support strategy and assess ideal pathways and solutions with relevant data and insights. The successful candidate will also oversee project development and progress from initiation to completion.

In this dynamic and collaborative environment, you will work closely with our Biodiversity and Habitats team to drive end-to-end management of oceans partnerships.

  • You will monitor activities carried out under collaborations, partnership agreements, including progress to milestones, reporting, learning outcomes.
  • Drive landscape analyses for the team, including stakeholder mapping and co-designing initiatives with partners.
  • Digest and analyse collaboration insights, working in close collaboration with Impact and Advocacy teams to measure and communicate impact.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science or similar, with at least 5 years' relevant working experience.
  • Proven experience in conservation project management, with a focus on climate change, marine or environmental projects.
  • Strong knowledge of related issues and understanding of the complexity and challenges associated with biodiversity in marine habitats.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and serve as a team player.
