We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Manager Waste and Cleansing. This critical role leads the delivery of waste operations and cleansing services, overseeing major contracts, operational staff, and customer service performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the strategic planning and delivery of waste collection, disposal, and cleansing services.
- Manage significant contractor relationships and performance.
- Ensure strong customer service focus across all waste and cleansing functions.
- Oversee operational planning, compliance with relevant legislation, and budget management.
- Drive continuous improvement and organisational development within the team.
- Represent the organisation at stakeholder forums and manage briefing requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing industrial workforces.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management capability.
- Strategic planning skills across operational and environmental functions.
- Experience managing complex contracts and delivering service excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
