Mobile Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Mobile Equipment Technician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various mobile equipment, working primarily on-site with customers.

  • Repair and maintain Telescopic Handlers (JCB and Manitou) in a field-based environment.
  • Work independently and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Utilize strong working knowledge of plant machinery to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues to ensure effective resolution of problems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • A valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Strong working knowledge of plant machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Good spoken and written English.
