About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Revenue Management Specialist to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our Commercial Division, you will be responsible for optimising revenue outcomes for our portfolio and wider network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage demand forecasts, class availability, and flight operations through our advanced Revenue Management Systems (Revenue Optimiser (RO), SSI).
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify trends that drive strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to propose enhancements that amplify revenue results across approximately 6 markets.
  • Utilise reports and external sources to understand market performance and economic environments.
  • Define and implement strategies in revenue management systems (RO, SSI).
  • Track success of strategies and share results.
  • Work with the Commercial Analytics team to create or enhance reports that guide strategies and measure performance.
Requirements
  • Commercial experience in a numerical or analytical role.
  • Airline Revenue Management (or other travel industry) experience.
  • Commercial airline experience.
  • RO system user experience.
  • Sabre SSI and/OR other RM system experience.
  • Intermediate Excel.
  • Experience in business analysis, business process mapping, and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in business application change control.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting and implementing change control processes.
  • Experience in liaising with internal and external customers to deliver solutions or projects.
