Job Title: Fitness Class Coordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and deliver high-energy fitness classes to people of all ages and fitness levels. Our ideal candidate will be certified in group exercise instruction and have excellent communication skills.

  • Develop and deliver engaging land-based and aquatic fitness classes for diverse groups, ensuring each class is tailored to meet the needs of participants.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with sign-ups, inductions, and answering questions about our facilities and services.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment by offering guidance and feedback to members, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Teach Group Fitness Classes;
    • Assist Customers with Membership Sign-Ups & Inductions;
    • Ensure Cleanliness, Hygiene, Safety & Security within the Facility;
  • Requirements:
    • Certificate III or IV in Fitness or equivalent qualification;
    • Current CPR Certificate or proof of enrolment;
    • Current First Aid Certificate or proof of enrolment;
    • NSW Working With Children Check Clearance;
    • Qualifications in Yoga, Pilates, and/or Aqua Aerobics (desired).

We require the successful applicant to participate in regular staff meetings, adhere to Council policies and procedures, and contribute to creating a positive and supportive team culture.
