Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and provide Level 3 support across Windows Server and cloud platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will include administering and maintaining hybrid infrastructure: on-prem, AVS, and Azure-native. You will also integrate services with third-party providers including WAN and secure internet gateways (e.g., Verizon). Additionally, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across SIAM-aligned processes (incident, change, and problem management).

You will partner with the service desk and desktop teams to support a modern M365 environment. Your contribution to application services management and virtual server optimization will be essential in ensuring the success of our cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server 2016-2022, strong hands-on expertise in the Azure Cloud Platform, and proficiency with VMware environments. Knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS), Azure networking, and hub-and-spoke topology is also highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016-2022
  • Strong hands-on expertise in the Azure Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency with VMware environments
  • Knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • Azure networking and hub-and-spoke topology
  • Virtual server management and application services
  • Familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Power Automate
  • Certifications: MS900, MS102, AZ900, AZ104

Additionally, you must have a proven track record of working in complex, hybrid environments and be comfortable with cloud technologies and system integration. Experience with government clients in secure, high-stakes environments is also highly valued.
