Your Day-to-DayAs the Principal Mechanical Engineer Lead, you will be working on a project scope that has been divided into two key areas. Your responsibility will be to lead the mechanical team to deliver the engineering design for one of these areas. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, working with designers to develop the plant layout and detailed design, and supporting mechanical engineers in performing design calculations and developing equipment packages.
You will also be responsible for interfacing with other engineering disciplines and applying relevant engineering principles to provide solutions to project assignments. Additionally, you will lead the project in scheduling, progress, planning, and reporting.
