Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop mechanical engineering deliverables, including package engineering, calculations, and plant design.
  • Provide project review of mechanical deliverables and coordinate designs and drafts people.
  • Review progress and schedule, and adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures, and quality management requirements.
  • Lead a team of mechanical engineers and allocate work to others, monitoring progress and providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Industry-related higher education degree.
  • Significant (15 years) minerals process plant design experience.
  • Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations.
  • Engineering delivery experience and strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment.
  • Ability to produce study estimates, manage studies and small site projects, and handle variation management.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop other mechanical engineers.
  • Knowledge of databases and version control, as well as extensive industry contacts and the ability to win confidence of Clients through business development.
