Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing technical engagements with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discussions with prospects and clients to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Manage consulting projects, including Global Network Assessments, SD-WAN/SASE readiness, traffic optimization, Vo IP, and other technical areas.
  • Act as a technical liaison with key vendors to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs.
  • Assist in defining the cost base for projects and provide critical input to the sales team to facilitate buy-in from technical decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate project timelines and lead the Professional Services-based Proof of Concept testing during the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, encouraging discussions of new potential projects.
  • Lead technical workshops before and after contract signatures to finalize scope and design.
  • Develop and own technical scope and high-level design documents, including migration steps.
  • Conduct regular technical review meetings with clients to inform them of relevant solution enhancements and industry trends.
  • Provide support during the implementation phase as needed.
  • Proactively distribute knowledge to the team, sharing experiences during weekly Sales-Ops calls, weekly CTO-Ops Director calls, and via internal Microsoft Teams channels.
  • Continuously contribute to the improvement of bidding, Change Management methodology, and other operational processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest market technologies, products, and services.
  • Assist in Coevolve's Product Development activities by leading technical workshops and refining technical methodologies, ensuring that our offerings remain cutting-edge and relevant to market needs.
Requirements
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at both technical and conceptual levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and excellent knowledge of the following technologies (hands-on experience preferred): WAN and LAN design, Switching and routing, MPLS, Internet, DMVPN, IPsec, Access technologies, Network and Application Performance Management, Network and Application Optimization tools, Security concepts, Cloud delivery, Data center design, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Plans, SD-WAN and Next-Gen Networking.
  • Confident, tenacious, and self-driven with a proven track record of developing high-quality, commercially viable technical solutions.
  • Good understanding of commercial considerations to ensure that solutions are viable and not over-engineered.
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies and interact with third-party vendors.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (subject to COVID precautions).
  • Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field is desired.
