About the Role

As a Recovery Support Worker at Richmond Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to individuals on their journey of personal recovery. Working within a person-centered framework, you will collaborate with a team to create an environment that fosters self-determination, choice, and holistic wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain personalized recovery plans, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience.
  • Adopt a holistic approach to support, addressing physical health and mental distress through evidence-based practices.
  • Incorporate family members, carers, and significant individuals into the recovery process as directed, ensuring inclusive and collaborative care.
  • Address critical incidents and crises according to organizational policies and procedures, prioritizing individual safety and well-being.
Recovery Plan Support:
  • Work within a person-centered framework, promoting self-determination and choice, and empowering individuals to take control of their recovery journey.
  • Foster strong rapport with service users, building trust and collaboration through active listening and empathetic understanding.
  • Assist service users in developing essential life skills, enhancing their independence and confidence in managing daily challenges.
Service Operations:
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation, adhering to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate actively in internal meetings, supervision sessions, and training activities, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, best practices, and quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous excellence in service delivery.
  • Maintain facilities and property in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, upholding a safe and healthy work environment.

We offer an attractive remuneration package, including salary packaging up to $18,640, which allows you to pay approved expenses from your salary before tax, reducing your taxable income.
