Job Description

Residential Construction Project Lead:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Lead to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise daily on-site activities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  2. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
  3. Monitor construction progress, timelines, and budgets.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  5. Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and updates.
  6. Resolve site issues and proactively identify solutions to keep projects on track.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Previous Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in residential building, is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with a team-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Education:

A trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, or Engineering is highly desirable.
