Project Coordinator Role

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the delivery of residential construction projects. They are responsible for effectively managing multiple project elements, ensuring that builds are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and track progress of construction jobs to maintain quality standards and timelines.
  • Manage site deliveries according to schedules and collaborate with Building Support Coordination Teams for effective communication channels.
  • Oversee completion of on-site work to meet time and quality standards while adhering to WHS protocols.
  • Implement building quality assurance programs with Construction Managers and Assistant Construction Managers.
  • Ensure all sites comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven understanding of residential construction processes and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction management or project coordination in the housing and construction industry.
  • Building Contractors License or minimum Building Supervisors license (class 1 and 2 up to 3 storeys).
  • Knowledge and application of National Construction codes and Australian Standards.
  • Effective communication, monitoring, and problem-solving skills with ability to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse people and build positive relationships.
