
Financial Institutions Sector Adviser

We are currently recruiting for an Associate to join the Financial Institutions team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will play a key strategic role in advising clients on M&A, financing and other significant corporate activities. Key responsibilities include conducting market and industry research within the financial institutions sector, organizing and preparing marketing materials, presentations and assisting in client relationship management.
A minimum of 2 years of Investment Banking or other boutique advisory experience is required, with a strong track record in Australian M&A transactions. Advanced financial modelling and financial analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, good presentation skills and the ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines are also essential.
About the Role:
- Conduct market and industry research within the financial institutions sector.
- Organize and prepare marketing materials, presentations and assist in client relationship management.
- Responsible for developing valuation models, pro-forma financial statements and comparable company analysis.
- Assist in due diligence, transaction management and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Investment Banking or other boutique advisory experience.
- Minimum 2 years of track record in Australian M&A transactions.
- Advanced financial modelling and financial analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines.
