Job Overview

We're building a team of exceptional product designers accountable for crafting exceptional experiences that drive user adoption and improve our product for customers. You'll play a key role in facilitating and executing solutions from concept to implementation, driving UX and visual design, research, ideation, prototyping, conceptual modeling, testing, and validation.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Advocate for the end-user, understanding customer needs, perspectives, and goals through regular interactions, research initiatives, evaluative testing, community participation, and responding to customer feedback.
  2. Design solutions across our product experience, balancing customer problems with business goals and technical constraints while utilizing skills in research, user experience, interaction, and visual design.
  3. Contribute to our product vision by facilitating input from engineers, product managers, leadership, and other designers, taking a journey-based approach to designing the end-state, and working with the product team to pragmatically prioritize and scope work.
  4. Pair closely with engineers to ensure a high-quality product experience through meticulous attention to detail during implementation.
  5. Contribute to our design system by collaborating with designers and engineers to create and evolve patterns and components shared across different parts of the product experience.
  6. Enhance our design team culture by participating in scaling design rituals, maintaining our high-quality bar as the product team grows, addressing cross-product problems, and pairing on challenges together.

Your Qualifications

  • Strong design experience as a professional product designer with expertise in sophisticated, modern B2B cloud software.
  • Breadth of skills across the design process, including product discovery, confident visualization and prototyping, and delivering detailed solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings effectively with teammates and customers.
  • Attention to detail, upholding a high-quality bar and constantly enhancing the customer experience.
  • Pragmatism, comfortable with ambiguity, shifting deadlines, and resourcefully solving problems while holding strategic goals in mind.
  • Highly collaborative working style, experienced in working closely with adjacent roles like product managers and engineers.
  • Stakeholder management, confident in communicating product and design visions, framing challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders for alignment and outcomes.
  • A great attitude towards urgency, risk, and uncertainty, embracing an exciting journey at an early-stage startup.
