At Careerlink People Solutions, we're partnering with 11point2 to find an Innovation Catalyst, a role that plays a pivotal part in validating ideas. This position is perfect for those who share our passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.

We're looking for an individual with a design thinking focus to join our team of like-minded professionals. As an Innovation Catalyst, you'll operate as a co-founder in a technology-focused start-up, responsible for everything except building the product and technology.

  • You'll work closely with clients to uncover and validate entrepreneurial ideas, owning the Stakeholder Validation process and activities.
  • Determine market opportunity, competitive landscape, and the pathway to executing on ideas.
  • Find and reach out to industry experts, synthesizing their input and providing continuous feedback to the team.
  • Critically think through Validation learnings and deliver original analyses and insight to the team.
  • Establish productive working relationships with other members of the Idea Validation Squad.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for:

  • Working with clients to identify and validate innovative ideas.
  • Owning the stakeholder validation process, including identifying stakeholders and engaging them appropriately.
  • Determining market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and execution pathways.
  • Identifying and reaching out to industry experts, synthesizing their input, and providing continuous feedback.
  • Critical thinking and analysis to provide original insights to the team.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience with various innovation frameworks, including design thinking, customer journeys, jobs to be done, business model canvas, and design sprints.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize, analyze, and deliver data and insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A bias towards action, resilience, and passion for innovation and technology.
  • Curiosity, lateral thinking, and a desire to develop solutions to commercial problems.
