We're building a team of skilled product designers, responsible for crafting exceptional experiences, interactions, and solutions that enhance our customers' journeys. You'll play a key role in facilitating and executing solutions, from concept to implementation, driving UX and visual design, research, ideation, prototyping, conceptual modeling, testing, and validation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the end-user, prioritizing their needs, perspectives, and goals through regular customer interactions, research initiatives, evaluative testing, and feedback responses. Utilize design methods like personas, journey maps, etc., to build a shared understanding of the customer with your team.
  • Design solutions across our product experience, balancing customer problems with business goals and technical constraints. Leverage skills in research, user experience, interaction, and visual design to create innovative solutions, taking a collaborative and iterative approach.
  • Contribute to our product vision, facilitating input from engineers, product managers, leadership, and other designers. Take a journey-based approach to designing the end-state, working closely with your product team to pragmatically prioritize and scope work.
  • Pair closely with engineers, sweating details on the implementation of designs to ensure a high-quality product experience.
  • Contribute to our design system, working closely with designers and engineers to create and evolve patterns and components to be shared across different parts of the product experience.
  • Support our design team culture, focusing on scaling design rituals, maintaining our high-quality bar as the product team grows, addressing cross-product problems, and collaborating on projects.

About the Role

  • A strong background in design, with experience as a professional product designer, working with sophisticated modern cloud software.
  • Breadth of skills across the design process, including experience with product discovery, confident visualizing and prototyping design concepts, delivering detailed solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, conveying opinions, thoughts, and feelings effectively with teammates and customers.
  • Attention to detail, striving for a high-quality bar, constantly enhancing the experience for customers.
  • Pragmatism, comfortable with ambiguity, shifting deadlines, resourcefully solving problems while holding strategic goals in mind.
  • Highly collaborative working style, experienced working closely with adjacent roles, such as product managers and engineers, planning, prioritizing, and delivering projects.
  • Stakeholder management, confident communicating product and design visions, framing challenges and opportunities, aligning stakeholders towards an outcome.
  • A great attitude towards urgency, risk, and uncertainty, being part of an exciting journey from the start.
