Your Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely and satisfactory property claims resolutions that align with customer expectations throughout the claims process.
- Collaborating with claimants, repair professionals, and various internal/external stakeholders to facilitate prompt decision-making and favorable claim outcomes.
- Evaluating indemnity, liability, costs, and the legitimacy of building and remediation work scopes.
- Assessing claims related to remediation and safety measures.
- Reviewing reports on building damage and remediation causes, including geotechnical and structural engineering assessments.
- Identifying defects and non-compliance in repairs based on Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
About You
- Qualifications in Building Trades and/or Loss Assessor certification through ANZIIF.
- Extensive experience in property assessment and customer service.
- Thorough technical understanding of insurance principles and loss management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
- Proven technical proficiency with relevant systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
