We are seeking a skilled Desktop Assessor to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a Desktop Assessor, you will play a critical role in assessing property damage and determining claim quantum and scope under the relevant PDS.
Key Responsibilities- Assess property damage via multiple assessing platforms, including desktop assessing, virtual assessing, and onsite/on-road assessments.
- Determine claim quantum and scope under the relevant PDS.
- Provide brilliant service to our customers, delivering professional and accurate assessments, and communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders.
- Support the Claims Manager in identifying customer resolution strategies to minimize customer escalations.
- Proactively promote and communicate the benefits of our digital experience capabilities and elevate customer interactions through the efficient and effective use of technology.
- Identify customers experiencing vulnerability and take appropriate action to ensure the customer is supported.
- Build effective and trusted relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
- Qualifications in building or allied trades and experience in compiling or interpreting scope of works (desired).
- Competent computer literacy and navigation skills (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years insurance experience and claims process knowledge (desired).
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a proven performer in customer service roles (mandatory).
