Data Centre MEP Specialist

As a highly skilled Chief Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our data centre's mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Manage small-to-medium projects from inception to completion, including developing project plans and obtaining quotes for necessary costs.
- Own cluster-wide technical programs to monitor and maintain the effectiveness of MEP equipment and staff performance.
- Direct, train and support EOTs in troubleshooting and operating electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high standards for safety and security while ensuring optimal capacity at minimal cost for customers.
You will work closely with senior managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage resources and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency.
About the Role- Fill gaps in a 24/7 rotating shift roster.
- Oversee the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring all work performed adheres to established practices, procedures and local legislation.
- Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports on all aspects of MEP infrastructure operations and maintenance.
- Initiate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets for events managed by DCEO.
