We are seeking an experienced Event Specialist to join our Events team, which is responsible for delivering over 40 events annually. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of internal and external events, working closely with the Events Manager and Head of Events to achieve key strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and implement end-to-end delivery of events, including venue selection, audio-visual requirements, staff coordination, catering, and logistics.
  • Registration and Reporting: Create and maintain registration sites, providing reports and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Meetings and Liaison: Participate in meetings, taking actions for allocated events, and liaise with internal IT and external AV companies to ensure requirements are met.
  • Virtual Events: Coordinate virtual events through Teams or Zoom, as needed.
  • Logistics and Administration: Coordinate logistics for external conferences and events, maintain collateral and events assets, and perform administrative tasks such as email management and invoice processing.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in an events role, ideally with some exposure to running events client-side.
  • Communication and Rapport Building: Highly developed communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to negotiate and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Time Management and Organization: Ability to meet deadlines and juggle conflicting priorities.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Dynamic personality with a can-do attitude, strong teamwork skills, and flexibility to travel and attend events outside of standard business hours.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (including Teams) and Zoom, with experience in Events Air a must.
