Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for employees in accordance with established standards.
  • Maintain consistency in dish preparation and presentation.
  • Inspect incoming ingredients and ensure proper storage practices.
  • Implement effective mise-en-place strategies to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain robust food safety and hygiene practices within the kitchen environment.
Essential Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safe knife handling and good hygiene practices.
  • Proficiency in various cooking methods and techniques.
