Job Title: Financial Officer

As a Financial Officer at Sg Fleet Australia Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring daily and monthly tasks are completed in accordance with SG Fleet Accounting and Reporting Manual, and all reporting requirements are delivered within strict reporting deadlines. The position plays a key supporting role in helping Financial Control provide financial information to the stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process finance rentals, terminations and final settlements (RV or Balloon payment) transactions to the various financiers within the lease portfolio and other 3rd party payments.
  • Processing urgent funding requests
  • Daily New Business Applications review, corrections and communication to the relevant financiers
  • Analyse and investigate discrepancies between SG Fleet systems and financier systems including arrears investigations. As well as identifying and resolving in live system data errors related to the Financial make up of a lease including Financier Issue Management online system
  • Update financiers on lease changes, including restructures and extensions
  • Liaise with relevant internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors or complete transactions as required
  • Reconcile suspense GL accounts as appropriate
  • Prepare month end BS reconciliation reports
  • Assist with specific projects work, tasks, staff training when required as well as process improvements related to funded lease transaction accuracy and reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Previous Reconciliations or General Ledger Experience
  • Ability to solve problem and follow through to complete resolution
  • Intermediate / Advance Excel skills a must. Together with experience in working with spreadsheets and providing analysis on trends and movements.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems
  • Proven customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise
  • Strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge and is thorough and accurate
