Job Title: Financial Markets Officer

Westpac is seeking a highly skilled Financial Markets Officer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Financial Markets and Treasury Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for managing financial markets and treasury operations. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial markets and treasury operations, including FX, derivatives, and security settlements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial markets or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and treasury operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
