Empower Lives as a Recovery Coach

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our team. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals living with psychosocial disabilities to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the development of recovery-focused relationships with participants through providing linkages to NDIS-funded services and mainstream support.
  • SUPPORTING participants with their recovery planning and empowering them to understand and navigate their support coordination needs within their NDIS plan.
  • Navigating administrative tasks in collaboration with the participant and our National Office Team to ensure continuity of support for participants.
  • Providing tailored support based on the participant's needs, preferences, and goals using a strength-based approach.
  • Linking participants with community services and monitoring NDIS budgets.
  • SUPPORTING participants to monitor and understand their allocated NDIS funds to ensure effective use across the lifetime of the NDIS plan.
  • Collaborating with Duty Officers within the recovery coaching team to effectively support participants through the plan review process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate IV in Mental Health or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/related field (including currently studying) OR 1 year of experience in the mental health sector or related field.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Minimum probationary driver's license and fully comprehensive car insurance.
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate.
