The Lead Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Front Office, including Reception and Concierge/Porter services. This role requires a strong leader who can deliver exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
">- Develop and lead the Front Office team to ensure training, tools, and support are in place to deliver exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
- Ensure a seamless Front and Back of House experience by providing prompt, professional service and personal recognition for all guests.
- Oversee day-to-day Front Office and Concierge operations, ensuring standards, policies, and procedures are upheld.
- Respond to guest feedback and complaints, taking swift action to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas, lobby, and front office to maintain presentation and service standards.
- Foster a positive team culture through coaching, performance feedback, and collaboration with other departments.
- Support the implementation of brand standards and True Hospitality skills.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulations, including training, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
- Champion IHG One Rewards and ensure VIP and regular guests receive all their benefits.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Four years' guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia (PR/Citizen) - visa sponsorship not available for this position.
- Licensing and certifications: Valid Australian Driver's Licence; Current First Aid and CPR certification; Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Flexible availability - willingness to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical capability - comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and able to safely lift, push, and pull items up to 23 kg, with appropriate equipment provided.
