We are seeking an experienced retail store manager to join our team at Frontline Recruitment in Canberra.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales manager and retail leader to take charge of our Fyshwick showroom and elevate service and operational standards. As the first point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for fostering incredible team relations, coaching, and improving KPI results across the team and store.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture, electrical, or large format sales and/or showroom management, with the ability to lead, inspire, and manage a medium-sized team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a medium-sized team to achieve excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Analyse and maximise sales and P&L results through effective inventory management, logistics, and showroom standards.
  • Elevate operational efficiency, meeting time frames, and OH&S expectations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for interiors, home styling, and furniture.
  • Ability to build and maintain exceptional client relationships.
  • Confidence in providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Strong capabilities around inventory levels, logistics, and showroom standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
