Urgent Care Nurse Opportunity
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our team in Craigieburn. As a full-time member of our urgent care service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with medical practitioners to deliver exceptional outcomes.
In this pivotal role, you will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, triage patients efficiently, and take decisive actions for those requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.
You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, showcasing your adaptability and collaborating with colleagues to deliver top-tier patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and provide efficient triage services
- Take prompt action for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration
- Work collaboratively with medical practitioners to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Provide essential health education to patients as needed
- Ensure timely completion of all documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Nurse
- A minimum of 1 year's prior triage experience, ideally in an emergency department
- Preferred experience of 5 years or more
- Proficiency in recognizing and responding to health deterioration
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
