Job Title: Respiratory Physician Specialist

We are seeking an experienced specialist in respiratory and sleep medicine to work within a statewide home ventilation service. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting outpatient and home admission clinics, including consultations and admitting patients for home-based evaluation.

The key elements of this role include:

  • Respiratory and Sleep Specialist consultations in a home ventilation clinic, including telehealth and face-to-face consultations and admitting patients for home-based evaluation
  • Sleep laboratory and home monitoring reporting and patient review, including patients on home ventilation through an admitted at home model

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent
  • Member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand
  • Appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine
