Senior Physician

This position offers the opportunity to provide clinical care to patients primarily within Respiratory Medicine. The ideal candidate will be actively engaged in patient care, research and education.
The role is responsible for providing continuity of general respiratory and sleep medicine care, with the possibility of expanding to include responsibility and attendance at a rural clinic.
The incumbent may be required to assist in the development, implementation and audit of agreed management protocols and models of care consistent with international best practice standards across all areas within the department and related disciplines.
The supervision of junior medical officers, registrars, fellows, locums and trainees in conjunction with the Clinical Service Head may also be required.
Essential Requirements:- Legal qualification as a medical practitioner, registered or registrable with AHPRA without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
- Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Respiratory & Sleep Medicine.
- Meets requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Respiratory Medicine.
