We are currently seeking a permanent opportunity for a Safety Applications Specialist to enhance our Safety team. This role will primarily involve supporting our clients across various projects throughout Australia, necessitating regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include delivering services aligned with our Safety Services and Training divisions. Essential tasks to ensure workplace safety during customer projects will encompass:
• Conducting inspections, tests, and evaluations of work environments, equipment, and practices;
• Collecting samples of potentially hazardous materials;
• Demonstrating the proper use of safety equipment;
• Assisting in the investigation of incidents and accidents;
• Assembling and testing products and equipment;
• Monitoring and reporting on rental inventory levels;
• Coordinating the replacement of rental equipment and ensuring sufficient consumables are available;
• Sourcing and procuring third-party equipment as necessary;
• Performing maintenance, repairs, and testing of products and equipment;
• Keeping accurate service records;
• Utilizing experience to enhance and add value to processes;
• Ensuring all service tasks are completed promptly; and
• Delivering a reliable and efficient service that reflects positively on Dräger.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be flexible to meet customer needs and thrive in both independent and collaborative settings. Your qualifications and attributes will include:
• A proactive and positive mindset;
• Relevant experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and diagrams;
• Capability to analyze technical challenges and propose solutions;
• Competence in performing routine mathematical calculations;
• Understanding of pricing structures and gross margins;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft applications; and
• A valid Driver's License.
