We are currently seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist - Safety Focus to join our team at Draeger Australia Pty Ltd. This role will involve providing essential support services to our customers in line with our Rental Safety Services and Training departments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices.
  • Collect samples of potentially toxic materials.
  • Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment.
  • Assist in investigating incidents and accidents.
  • Undertake the assembly and testing of products and equipment.
  • Monitor and report on rental stock levels.
  • Arrange replacement of rental equipment and ensure adequate levels of consumables are available.
  • Source and acquire 3rd party equipment, when required.
  • Undertake the maintenance, repair & testing of products and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate service records.
  • Use experience to continually improve and add value to processes.
  • Ensure all service work is conducted in a timely manner.
  • Provide a good, efficient & reliable level of service that promotes Draeger to our customers.

About You:

  • You will be adaptable to the requirements of our customers and enjoy working autonomously as well as in a team environment.
  • Your experience and skills will include a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams.
  • Ability to comprehend technical problems and provide solutions.
  • Must be able to perform routine arithmetic calculations.
  • Have an understanding of pricing structure & gross margin.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer operation and Microsoft applications.
  • A current driving licence.
