The Maintenance Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the maintenance function across our plant facilities and equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic planning and execution of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including inspections of critical equipment and implementation of engineering improvement plans to enhance plant performance.
  • Serving as the key liaison between the plant and corporate/regional engineering and projects teams to ensure alignment on maintenance and engineering initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing strategies and programs to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), plant reliability, and long-term asset performance.
  • Overseeing daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely execution of maintenance tasks, optimization of spare parts inventory, and continuous reliability improvements.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and monitoring preventive maintenance schedules and critical equipment inspection programs to ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance, including managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Tracking and managing maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintenance budgets, and ensuring all activities are conducted within financial and operational guidelines while driving cost efficiency.
  • Preparing and submitting capital investment proposals, including equipment design recommendations, layout optimization, cost justification, and overseeing the full implementation lifecycle.
  • Coordinating the engineering, development, construction, commissioning and startup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with legislative and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in plant or facilities maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting is essential.
  • A mechanical or electrical engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is required.
  • Strong understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and safety compliance is necessary.
  • Ability to manage contractors and maintenance teams in an operational environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative is desired.
