**Job Opportunity: Maintenance Technician**

Veolia ANZ is seeking a skilled professional to maintain and operate the plant and equipment at the water treatment plant.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, monitoring status and condition, and reporting on key performance indicators.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor plant operations and report on status/condition of plant and systems
  • Undertake laboratory analysis, testing, and sample collection
  • Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and first-line maintenance on plant, equipment and processes
  • Maintain housekeeping of plant and administration areas
  • Participate in shift work roster including weekends and holidays
  • Undertake company training programs as required
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Attend toolbox meetings, production meetings, and other operational meetings

**Requirements:**

  • Trade qualifications for either Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter or Electrical Trade Certificate
  • Experience in general plant operations would be highly regarded
  • Willingness to obtain certification in Water Treatment (supported by Veolia)
