Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of complex projects to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements
  • Manage contractual obligations to minimize exposure and control costs through timely responses and internal escalation
  • Develop trust and manage relationships with customers to ensure shared understanding of key issues between parties
  • Identify and pursue further business opportunities with customers in conjunction with account managers
  • Own financial performance of projects, controlling billing and costs, and providing regular estimates at completion of costs
  • Drive project teams to minimize cost of labor while delivering successful projects using low-cost resources and minimizing defects and rework
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Project Management Professional Certification or more than 5 years' PM experience
  • Further education in management or project management would also be advantageous
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license and access to a motor vehicle to travel to sites
  • Rail experience preferred but not essential
  • Maintain up-to-date immunizations as needed
  • 8+ years' HVAC and BMS experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning
