Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respectful support to residents, empowering their choices and independence.
- Monitor residents' preferences, needs, and wellbeing throughout the day.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care.
- Offer social and emotional support to residents, being a friendly face in times of need.
- Help residents engage in lifestyle activities, maintain mobility, and participate in mealtime assistance.
- Document incidents and care provided, participating in Work Health and Safety programs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a genuine passion for caring for others, a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies, and prior experience as a personal carer in aged care is beneficial but not essential.
