Employment Consultant Job Description

This role requires a highly motivated individual to assist clients in securing sustainable employment opportunities.

The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, focusing on retraining and upskilling while forging partnerships with local employers to create job opportunities.

The Employment Consultant will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, requiring strong conflict resolution abilities and a track record of meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

This is a full-time, fixed-term role until June 2025 with the possibility of extension, based in our office. Working hours are 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse client base, providing employment assistance and support
  • Foster partnerships with local employers to create job opportunities
  • Deliver training and professional development programs
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Digitally savvy with intermediate computer skills
  • Previous administration experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet KPIs
  • Ability to resolve complex client situations with resilience and maturity
