Job Description

The Contracts and Resource Manager plays a pivotal role in managing allocated resources at the Air Warfare Centre, ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies for contract and budget management activities;
  • Providing clear direction on contracts, panel arrangements, and arranging performance assessments and contract governance activities;
  • Developing and reviewing complex contract management correspondence, including commercially sensitive reports, tender submissions, evaluations, and contract change proposals;
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and developing methodologies to achieve effective outcomes.

The position requires prioritization of resources across various budget lines in the Air Warfare Centre, with analysis of financial and budgetary requirements conducted to support FEG capabilities.

This role demands in-depth business and financial management knowledge, as well as the ability to manage expectations across a tiered military and APS structure. A strong understanding of the Air Warfare Centre Business Plan and Operating Model is essential.
