Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our board as a non-executive director.

Multitasking has become recognised as a leader in supporting people with disabilities in regional areas and we are committed to empowering people living with a disability to live rich and meaningful lives in an inclusive community.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • The successful candidate will have a commitment to community service and the not-for-profit sector,
  • an understanding of operating in regional areas,
  • experience in governance, ability to relate to diverse stakeholders,
  • a willingness to help lead and grow the organisation in a sound, diligent, caring and sustainable way.

Applications are open to individuals with diverse qualifications, skills and experiences including those with legal or ITC backgrounds.

Details

Board meetings are conducted monthly, usually from 5:30pm on a weekday, with teleconference facility plus a one day strategy session twice a year.

Appointment terms are for 3 years with the option of further terms. We encourage applications from Indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Requirements
  • Right to work in Australia,
  • experience as a Non-executive Director,
  • experience working in the not-for-profit sector,
  • current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment.
