Procurement Officer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled procurement officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with our business objectives.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends, risks, and opportunities, and be able to drive category strategies that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute 1–3 year category plans.
  • Analyse industry trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships and lead negotiations.
  • Oversee supplier performance and drive cost reductions.
  • Implement long-term savings strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory and sustainability requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and/or Business Administration.
  • 5–7 years' experience in procurement or sourcing.
  • Proven expertise in food ingredient procurement.
