Are you interested in contributing to the growth and development of psychiatrists in Australia and New Zealand?

The RANZCP trains, educates, and represents psychiatrists in these regions.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position (0.6FTE) from July 2025 to February 2026.

Our Membership Development professional plays a key role in designing and implementing initiatives, projects, and programs that benefit our members. Working closely with committees and representative groups, this person will consult, plan, coordinate, and deliver outputs to meet member needs and expectations.

Key focus areas include:

  • Supporting the Mentoring Program
  • Implementing recommendations from the Membership and Trainee Engagement Strategies
  • Coordinating orientation activities and welcome packs for new trainees commencing the Fellowship pathway in 2025
  • Implementing projects and actions that support members approaching or who have retired from practice

Additional tasks may involve supporting member engagement and development, promoting the value of membership, and working on other relevant projects.

**Required Skills and Experience**

- Proven experience in project planning, coordination, writing, publishing, and communications

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role and/or relevant tertiary qualification

- Proficiency in MS Office suite and database software

- Knowledge or understanding of the Australasian health system context

- Background in membership or nonprofit organizations is advantageous

- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia
