Building Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our retail team in Gepps Cross, as we deliver building and home improvement needs and expert advice to our customers.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with valued customers and Trade members by providing specialist product knowledge and expert advice. A thorough understanding of our products and services is essential, along with the ability to participate in regular training to keep your knowledge up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting customers to find innovative solutions using our products and materials
  • Serving customers at our Trade counter and pick up areas
  • Order entry and preparing quotations
  • Visual merchandising and general housekeeping activities
  • Assisting with stock processing and stocktakes

About You:

  • Proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales
  • A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience in the building and/or construction industry is preferred
  • Estimating and design skills will be highly regarded
  • Highly organised with the ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Eye for detail with strong administration and data entry skills
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet customer's needs
  • Excellent communication skills and a personable, approachable team player attitude
  • Possess a genuine desire to further develop your career with us

This is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity with a requirement to work alternate weekends.
