Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Specialist to drive our technology strategy forward. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting requirement analysis and preparing proposals for modified or replacement systems
- Ensuring timely delivery of projects while adhering to industry standards
- Working closely with colleagues to provide cutting-edge IT solutions for internal and external clients
- Providing training material and user manuals to users of new systems
- Drawing up, supervising, and documenting testing schedules for complete systems
- Planning and working flexibly to meet deadlines
- Supporting users on change control and system updates
- Meeting with multiple clients and key stakeholders
- Creating project and costing reports
- Developing financial project plans to support the implementation of software solutions
- Working with clients to deploy system deliverables and train personnel across systems resources
- Examining existing IT systems and business models
- Analysing financial and marketing system requirements
- Configuring automated processes using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, and easy to understand
- Designing financial platforms and financial solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an IT Solutions Specialist, preferably in a technology-driven organisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights and system requirements
- Proficiency in system analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as process modelling, data flow diagrams, and use case scenarios
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and data integration principles
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
