Job Title: Stakeholder Engagement Specialist 

Are you a strategic thinker who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders? Do you have a passion for fostering meaningful engagement on significant projects?

This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of Australia's biggest infrastructure projects. As a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, you will play a key role in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies that support the delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies that align with project objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough research and mapping of stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  3. Prepare high-quality communication materials and coordinate engagement activities such as workshops, briefings, and industry events.
  4. Monitor stakeholder sentiment and emerging issues, providing strategic advice and risk mitigation recommendations to project and executive teams.
  5. Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions and prepare regular reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  6. Apply strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify impacts, risks, and opportunities, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  7. Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of inclusion.
  8. Manage competing priorities, deliver to deadlines, and evaluate project risks.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Consultation Manager is required.
  10. A minimum of five years' experience in stakeholder and/or community engagement roles is essential.
  11. Experience in infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  12. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience in communications, or community and stakeholder engagement is required.
  13. IAP2 accreditation is highly desirable.
  14. Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills are essential to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and manage sensitive issues.

Work Arrangements:

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Sydney. Some weekend and after-hours work may be required, and travel may be necessary to attend community and stakeholder events.

Eligibility:

Baseline Vetting Level security clearance is required. You must have lived in Australia or have a verifiable background for at least the preceding five years.
